1. Scrape in the OPPOSITE direction to the sting entry – use a credit card or dull edged knife – like trying to get a splinter out before the end can be seen, coax it out gently.
2. Don’t try to pull it out as squeezing the stinger will result in more venom being pumped in.
3. Take a single dose of homeopathic Apis mel. 30c. It’s useful to have a bottle handy whenever you go and visit your bees.
4. Move away from the bees, slowly but to a significant distance – you have been marked as a danger and more bees might attack.
